Welcome to Kyle Edward Didden's first web page!
Kyle joined our family on July 5, 2006, weighing in at 6lb 0oz, standing 19.5in tall. He decided to make his appearance three weeks before his scheduled arrival, so it was truly a 'surprise'! It was a great surprise too.
Dad was caught a little off guard, he still thought he had 3 weeks to decide on a name! We did not find out if our baby was a boy or girl until the delivery... so we still had a long list of both boy and girl names we were thinking about. Eric Charles was the front runner for the first day, but at the last minute we both agreed upon Kyle Edward. Kyle because we liked it, and Edward because it is a family name, and it worked better than the other family middle names we had picked (Charles and Carl).
Allison chose to use a midwife to guide her through her pregnancy, and for our family it was the right choice. Her midwife Laurice started with us at the beginning of our journey and really listened to Allison's desire to have a completely natural pregnancy and delivery. Kyle seemed to respond well to this approach and rewarded Allison with a text book natural delivery.
